Ladera Ranch is represented by a variety group each with a unique role within the community. The four primary community groups include: Ladera Ranch Civic Council (LRCC)
The purpose of this organization is to encourage and gather public comment on a range of topics which may affect the community of Ladera Ranch and represent the interests of Ladera Ranch Residents as a volunteer non-profit public benefit council. The seven member Civic Council board of directors focuses on municipal topics within Ladera Ranch that are traditionally associated with a City Government such as:
•Planning / Land Use
•Public Safety
•Public Works
•Other Municipal related services

Ladera Ranch Master Home Owners Association (HOA). The five member board non-profit public benefit corporation, established May 1998 is elected at large by LARMAC members. The community is professionally managed by Merit Property Management under the direction General Manager Pat Barry and Executive Director Todd Beebe. LARMAC maintains all the community facilities, common areas and public areas covering 4,000 acres of Master Planned Community.

Ladera Ranch Community Services (LARCS)
LARCS is a non-profit public benefit corporation, that coordinates activities, events, formation of clubs, manages and operates LaderaLife, and facilitates distribution of community information to the residents, distinct from LARMAC. LARCS is funded by Community Enhancement Fees (CEF) collected at the original sale and resale of homes within Ladera Ranch, and business sponsorships.

The Chamber is dedicated to supporting the needs of the local Ladera Ranch based businesses, at-home businesses as well as businesses that want to have influence into the Ladera Ranch community and the developing community of Rancho Mission Viejo. Promotes local businesses and the community-at-large in the Ladera Ranch and the developing area of Rancho Mission Viejo. The Ladera Rancho Chamber of Commerce is responsible for Oktoberfest, the State of the Community as well as numerous mixers and networking events.
